Consumable Recycling – our free programme
Recycling your toner is easy and free.
All Copier Company customers, no matter how big or small, are included in our free recycling programme for used toner cartridges and waste toner containers.
Our recycling partner, Croxley Recycling, manage all deliveries and collections of boxes on our behalf using a courier service.
Collections of used toner cartridges and waste toner containers are by way of a recycling collection box and an online request system.
Intelligent Toner Dispatch: Smart system simplifies ordering
There is nothing worse than the feeling of running out of toner when in the middle of an important job. Traditionally devices order toner when they start getting low, but this doesn’t account for your workload and can mean that you run out when you need it the most.
Here at The Copier Company we are revolutionising toner ordering with a new proactive, intelligent toner dispatch solution. Our solution proactively reads the devices toner levels daily and compares this to your traditional and current usage, this way we proactively send toner when you need it, rather than when the machine is getting low.

What happens in the recycling process?
All plastic, metals and residue toner is recovered for recycling.
The contents of each collection box are sorted into plastic types and by toner colour
The residue toner is then cleaned out and collected into 20 litre paint pails by colour. This toner is sent to Enviropaints to be used as a pigment in their recycled paint range
Metal components are sent to scrap metal dealers
The various plastic types go to a number of different recyclers for reuse both in NZ and offshore
